Learn More About Refugee Partners and Helpers
This Nonprofit organization was created to provide humanitarian aid, advocacy, and support services to refugees worldwide, aiming to address their immediate needs, protect their rights, and promote their long-term well-being and integration.
Our History
RPH was founded in 2022 by Nduwayo Steven Muragwa. It has always been his dream to start a nonprofit to help refugees around the world. Since 2010, when Nduwayo was still a refugee, he saw the injustice, hunger, and many other challenges that refugees were facing, he had the idea to one day be in a position to help and advocate for refugees. When he arrived in Canada, his commitment to aiding refugees grew even stronger.
During a conversation with Santos Bigabo-Mugunda, Nduwayo mentioned that he was planning to start a nonprofit organization soon to help and work with refugees worldwide. Santos, who had also lived in refugee camps for many years, asked Nduwayo to join him. Nduwayo accepted right away because their values and dedication on this matter aligned. And so, our journey began.

Founded on empathy and empowerment, we strive to create positive change and foster resilience within refugee communities. We envision a world where every refugee has access to resources and opportunities to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope, inspiring compassion, promoting social justice, and advocating for their rights and well-being.
